In association with a number of exhibitors, we offered Diploma Level Training Courses to Underhåll 2018 visitors. These courses were free of charge!
Inspector/Supervisor Course – by Dematek (6 hours spread over two occasions, 12 participants per group)
It is important that inspectors/supervisors have documented knowledge of the design, use and maintenance of lifting equipment. In order to help employees obtain the required level of knowledge, Dematek has decided to run a free training course on this subject at the Underhåll Fair.
In this case, lifting equipment refers to the whole system that supports, secures and manoeuvres the hook of the crane, and its connection with the load. When such equipment is used for lifting loads, it is important that the equipment is well maintained and checked to ensure satisfactory safety during use. The course includes AML (Swedish Work Environment Act), AFS (Swedish Work Environment Authority Statute Book), Standards, Lifting Equipment Design, its Use and Maintenance, as well as some practical exercises. The course is aimed at people who are experienced crane driver who have previously completed a course in crane driver training within the past five years. The Inspector/Supervisor Course, which is 6 hours long, will be organised by Dematek
Fall Protection Course – to be run by TOOLS Sverige AB (3 hours on 2 occasions, 12 participants per group)
The requirements for fall protection certificates on construction sites and on industrial premises are increasing. Standards and laws are continuously changing. The company will run a basic Fall Protection Course at the Underhåll Fair. The course, which will be free of charge, has been designed to increase skills and safety in the workplace. The course includes information about what happens to a person when he or she falls, the responsibilities and obligations of employees and employers, information on the Swedish Work Environment Act, risk analysis and rescue planning.
Upon the successful completion of the course, participants will be aware of laws and standards applying to work in environments where there is a danger of falling, be able to properly manage their personal fall protection equipment, understand the importance of risk analysis, and understand what happens in the event of a fall.

Participants who successfully complete this course will receive a Diploma and a voucher offering a 50% discount on any TOOLS Fall Protection Course. The voucher is valid for use by one person.
