You are welcome to submit your proposal for Underhållsmässan 2024!

The fair has four main target groups:

  • Maintenance managers, asset managers, production managers, technical managers, sustainability managers
  • Operations and maintenance staff, technicians, construction workers, service technicians, etc.
  • Company management such as CEOs, board members, management teams, financial managers, purchasing managers, etc.

Open stage program

In the open stage program, there will be two open stages: The Main Stage and the Technology Stage. Your program item will be placed on the most appropriate stage.

The Main Stage focuses on knowledge-enhancing seminars and case studies with best practice/successful projects from the maintenance sector and relevant industries.

The Technology Stage focuses on innovations, new solutions, research & development. It’s also an arena for companies and organisations working in the field of personal protective equipment.

To submit proposals for the open stage program, the following criteria must be met:

  • Priority will be given to participating exhibitors, organisations and universities/colleges
  • The proposal must include one of the areas that are relevant to Maintenance 2024
  • To maximize impact, please avoid sales presentations

Participating companies are asked to present current solutions and experiences on a specific project/scenario with relevance to the following thematic areas. The selection process will take place in coordination with the program council, and it will be decided who will be part of the open stage program.

Practical information

Each program item is about 20 minutes long and is delivered as a stage presentation supported by PowerPoint. If another format is desired such as a different duration or seminar format (e.g. workshop), this must be clearly stated in the description.

The stage has a standing table and standard technical equipment including a microphone and sound system, and a presentation screen.

Technicians are present during the stage program.

The stage program will be exhibited on digital screens during the event and on the web.

Overall focus areas for our open stages:

Productivity

Connected factories and intelligent business systems offer new opportunities to perform predictive maintenance work where faults and defects are addressed before they occur. Through forward-looking development work and agile business models, it is possible to cut major costs. Profitability is improved thanks to higher operational availability and lower costs.

Smart Maintenance / Digitization

The fourth industrial revolution puts us in the middle of a technological shift in industry. When processes and systems communicate directly, new opportunities arise to create intelligent, efficient and sustainable production systems where maintenance efforts play a crucial role. Development is rapid and creating a smart factory with self-learning systems is challenging in many ways.

Sustainable Maintenance

Sustainable Maintenance stands for everything from resource-efficient utilization to sustainable working practices and methods. Modern technology provides new opportunities to deploy maintenance when and where it is needed. For us, Sustainable Maintenance also includes skills transfer and skills supply over time – perhaps one of the most important and competitive issues in the industry.

Industrial Safety

Digitalisation brings with it completely new business models, global marketplaces and working methods that generate enormous amounts of data. With the dependence on data also comes a vulnerability and need for clear security strategies – cyber security. Together with the industry’s players, we will raise issues relating to both industrial security and personal protection, not least on the Technology Stage, where there will be a recurring programme item on the subject every day.

Additive Manufacturing

Industrial 3D printing and additive manufacturing are growing rapidly and generating increasing interest in the industry. The Swedish Maintenance Fair is monitoring this powerful development in order to show how the technology can be utilised across industries for increased availability and fewer stoppages. The development is really exciting from a maintenance perspective. As additive manufacturing techniques become more established, the possibility of manufacturing spare parts with higher strength increases. In addition, 3D scanning makes it easier to obtain spare parts quickly and avoid downtime.
