Technology change to drive more reliable production

Industry 4.0, smart maintenance, digitalization, predictive maintenance, industrial revolution … No-one can avoid technology changes in industry, not least in maintenance and production. The goal, of course, is greater efficiency and more reliable production. But how do you go from a fuzzy vision to concrete solutions?

We asked one of the players in the industry, OPTIWARE, which offers smart solutions to streamline production and maintain investments in plant and equipment. OPTIWARE was launched at the Maintenance Fair in connection with the merger of API Maintenance Systems and AXXOS.

We are told that many industry sectors largely automate equipment and processes at the level described as Industry 3.0. The mantra for the next wave of industrialization series is a complete digitalization of all production assets, as well as the integration of both vertical and horizontal value chains within a single digital ecosystem.

— It is incredibly important to be able to integrate, analyse and communicate data, seamlessly. This in turn is dependent on a broad register of integrated networks and technologies to create value and drive competitiveness, says Patrik Haldén, Director EAM Nordics at OPTIWARE.

OPTIWARE offers software precisely for maintenance and follow-up in order to optimise its customers’ production.

— We help our customers to take control of plant and maintenance processes and operation by offering tools that collect data, establish a relevant basis for decision-making, and visualise and share information, says Patrik.

OPTIWARE will take part in the Maintenance Fair from 10 to 13 March 2020. You can find more information about Optiware here.
